Meet Kate

Hi, I'm Kate! Welcome to my sustainability communications practice, which aims to help  workplaces embrace sustainability and share progress through honest and engaging communications and education.

I'm a committed environmentalist and skilled communications professional with experience working in both for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. I've worked on a number of strategic campaigns over the past 10+ years, helping raise funds for local charities, teaching kids about ocean ecology, and educating the public about misleading environmental product claims.

In 2015, I trained under Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Al Gore and became a Climate Reality Leader, joining a group of fellow world changers committed to taking action on climate change. An avid eater of local and organic food, I also sit on the board of a food co-operative in Toronto. It's great to be part of a community dedicated to supporting more responsible food and products.

I have an HBA from the University of Toronto and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Public Relations from Humber College.
